7 Drastic TV Star Transformations
In her most recent interview on "The Yo Show,"
Lark Voorhies hinted at a "Saved By the Bell" reunion and discussed her
new production company. However, the only thing we paid attention to
was how different the former teen star looked. The beautiful, fresh face
we knew as Lisa Turtle seemed to have changed dramatically. Though
we're hoping the 38-year-old actress was just suffering from a bad
makeup job, we couldn't help but wonder if Voorhies is a victim of
botched plastic surgeries and too much skin lightening creams.
Actress-turned-fashion-mogul Mary-Kate Olsen arrived at this year's Met Ball
clad in a black satin gown by her own label, The Row. The 25-year-old,
known for taking style risks, had her platinum tresses messily swept
back with a bunch of loose pieces framing her face. Her hairdo looked
totally bizarre, even though it was supposed to come off as romantic and angelic.
Former "Gossip Girl" star Taylor
Momsen has permanently traded in her preppy outfits and smile for
creepy hair extensions and downward-pointing pentagrams. After leaving
the popular CW series, the 18-year-old rocker (she fronts the rock band
The Pretty Reckless) has mainly been seen out in grungy, gothic getups
with raccoon-like makeup and sky high stripper shoes.
Since her days on "Popular" and
"Less Than Perfect," Sara Rue has become a spokesperson for Jenny Craig
losing as much as 50lbs. Today, the 33-year-old actress looks slimmer
than ever and rocking blonde hair instead of her usual dark tresses. Rue
will star in ABC's new comedy "Malibu Country" alongside Reba McEntire this fall.
Clay Aiken has made it to the
final round of this season's "The Celebrity Apprentice." Will he beat
Arsenio Hall and become the winner? When the "American Idol" alum
returned to reality TV, we couldn't help but notice that he looked a
little different than the last time we saw him. We can't tell whether
it's the much-rumored plastic surgery, the nearly transparent facial
hair, or just a case of Photoshop run amok. But even the craziest
Claymates had some trouble recognizing their favorite "Idol" on
"Apprentice."
Former Nickelodeon cutie Amanda
Bynes was arrested in early April on suspicion of driving under the
influence by the Los Angeles Police Department. After being taken into
custody, this mugshot was snapped of the "What I Like About You" star
wearing a black blazer, heavy eyeliner, and a less-than-flattering
pinkish-gray dye job.
Most recognized for his role on
Nickelodeon's "Drake and Josh" as the overweight, but lovable kid, Josh
Peck has since shed the pounds and kept it off. Nowadays, the
25-year-old actor does a lot of voice work and has appeared in a few
independent films.
