Mariah Carey Tells Barbara Walters: Nicki Minaj Threatened To Shoot Me

Barbara Walters told ‘The View’ audience this morning, Oct. 4, that Mariah Carey confided in her in an exclusive interview that Nicki told Mariah, ‘If I had a gun, I would shoot the b–ch!’ The explosive American Idol fight between Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey, revealed on video, just took a far darker turn. Barbara spoke directly to Mariah on Oct. 4 and shared Mariah’s feelings on today’s episode of The View, telling viewers that Mariah is emotionally uncomfortable after many people backstage said that they overheard Nicki say if she had a gun, she’d “shoot the b—h.” Mariah is now at home with her twins, Moroccan and Monroe, she has hired extra security, and she’s focusing on the show at this time. Mariah and Nicki were both present during a meeting on Oct. 3 with judges and producers. After the meeting, Mariah told Barbara, Nicki approached the “We Belong Together” singer and said “I love you, but we might fight again.” Mariah responded, “No, we won’t.” Mariah told Barbara, “I don’t feel comfortable emotionally, but I love the show and mentoring contestants.” Mariah also told Barbara that there is a photo shoot today. Barbara told the audience that Keith Urban shared that he “just wants things to be normal.”
