Daily Feng Shui Tip for Saturday, June 16
On 'World Jugglers Day' I'd like celebrate the skills of a different kind of juggler. If you are one of the many who fall under the 'too much to do, too little time' umbrella, than this tip is for you! It's estimated that two to five hours of each day is spent in 'gap time,' or the time spent between meaningful activities that isn't substantial enough to complete tasks that require some focus, mindless activities like commuting, waiting in lines, preparing meals, or cruising the Internet. But you can fill in this 'gap time' so that you'll have more time for more meaningful tasks. Bring a book with you at all times, or listen to audio books. Print articles from the Internet that you can read later. You can also use this time for problem solving or rehearsing important conversations or interview questions. If you add these tips to your extra 'gap time' you're sure to add hours to your day. If you want to speed up those efforts, don't hang a clock in any of the Feng Shui areas of the main floor of your home. Moving a clock to what's called a 'benign' space will open up your schedule as quickly as reading will. More time for you means less time for juggling!
