Talk about a major diss! T-Boz and Chilli from ’90s girl group TLC blasted Rihanna for the sheer gown she wore at the CDFA Awards on June 2.
Rihanna, 26, walked the CFDA Awards red carpet in NYC on June 2 wearing a nearly nude gown by Adam Selman. Rihanna rocked her oh-so-sheer frock with confidence, but it seems like two people were NOT fans of her look — Tionne ‘T-Boz’ Watkins, 44, and Rozonda ‘Chilli’ Thomas, 43, from the girl group TLC!
TLC Tells Rihanna “You Don’t Have To Be Naked”
First, online haters dissed Rihanna’s CFDA Awards style. Now, T-Boz and Chilli from TLC put Rihanna down for her sexy looks.
“Every time I see you, you don’t have to be naked,” T-Boz said about Rihanna on Channel 7′s Sunrise, a morning show in Australia. The R&B duo explained that they didn’t need to use sex appeal to help their group sell records. “We became the biggest girl selling group of all time with our clothes on and that says a lot,” Chilli stated.
Ouch! That’s not all the duo dished out. “We could go around too with booby cakes [breasts] out all day long,” Chilli said in response to Riri’s CFDA Awards dress. The duo explained they aren’t playing fashion police on Rihanna because they secretly want her worldwide success. “It’s hard for us to say anything because any time we do, they say ‘Oh TLC must be jealous,’ but I call a spade a spade,” T-Boz said on camera.
Wow! These two singers didn’t hold back any opinions about Riri’s dress! We know what Rihanna’s ex boyfriend Drake thought of her CFDA look, too!
Drake Was ‘Floored’ By Rihanna’s Sheer Dress
Rihanna’s ex boyfriend Drake was shocked by her nearly nude gown! “He can see how some people are turned on by it and how others can be turned off,” an EXCLUSIVE source told HollywoodLife.com about Drake’s reaction when he saw the dress. “Personally, he’s not surprised that his ex would wear something like that. She loves to shock people.”
What do YOU think about TLC’s diss to Rihanna,HollywoodLifers? Do you agree with TLC, or did you look Riri’s look?
