50 Cent was released from the hospital after a car accident in New York on June 26.
MTV reports that 50 Cent was hospitalized after getting into a car wreck but was released soon after and was not seriously harmed.
“Curtis ’50 Cent’ Jackson was involved in a car accident in New York in the early morning hours of June 26. He was taken to New York Hospital Queens where he was “treated for minor neck and back injuries,” said a source to MTV News.
The rapper’s website Thisis50.com was where fans first found out about the accident. His site revealed that the “Candy Shop” rapper’s bullet-proof SUV was rear-ended by a Mack truck while driving on the Long Island Expressway in New York City.
Pictures of 50 being wheeled on a stretcher as well as the damage done to the car are available on the site as well.
50 proved he was bulletproof after his 2002 drive-by, but the rapper may be taking the phrase “get rich or die trying” a little too seriously.
