Alec Baldwin drops his pants on 'Letterman,' talks paparazzo spat

In an effort to deflect attention from his run-in with a paparazzo, Alec Baldwin dropped his pants during an appearance on "The Late Show With David Letterman" on Wednesday night.
After walking out to Pat Benatar's "Hit Me With Your Best Shot," the actor -- who was promoting his latest film, Woody Allen's "To Rome With Love" -- tried to change the topic from his recent scuffle with a photographer by bringing up how much weight he had lost, which sometimes made his pants fall down. And down they went!
To answer the "boxers or briefs?" question, 54-year-old Baldwin, 54, wears briefs.
Baldwin, who has a history of being short tempered, then talked about the June 19 incident in New York City during which a photographer got in the "30 Rock" star's space as he exited a government building after obtaining a license to wed his fiancée, yoga instructor Hilaria Thomas.
"He's very masterful at getting really close to you with the camera," Baldwin told Letterman said about the shutterbug. "They want you to react. No one got punched, by the way. I kinda pushed him out of the way because he almost hit me in the face with the camera. Had I punched him, I'd be in jail. Then I would have pressed charges against him for assault. Then we would both be in the jail cell together. And you don't want to know what would happen in the jail cell, if we were together in the jail cell."
Last night, Baldwin and Thomas attended the premiere of "To Rome With Love" at New York's Paris Theater and happily posed for photographers.
